Timi was born on January 20th, 1981 in Accra, Ghana to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother. His mother was Ghanaian and his father was Nigerian.
Timi’s mother passed away when he was 13 years old, and his grandmother, Ateni Dakolo, and his aunt, Susan Larry, brought him up in Port Harcourt. Timi’s mother passed away when he was 13.
His primary and secondary schooling were both completed in Port Harcourt, which is located in Rivers State.
It is unknown whether he completed the course work necessary to earn a degree in Communication Studies from the University of Port Harcourt, where he was accepted to pursue his tertiary education; nonetheless, he did earn admission to that institution.
