The game’s tutorial consists of completing objectives in different hospitals, but you don’t need to aim for a three-star rating—one or two stars will do. After completing all the levels, try building your own private hospital (naming it after a childhood hospital can make it even more fun!).

While Ori 2 expands on Ori 1 with a larger map, more side quests, and varied gameplay, it also delivers a deeper message—if the first game is about motherly love, the second beautifully portrays friendship and environmental themes. A true masterpiece worth playing.

Compared to Paper Man’s Qing Dynasty mansion style, this game, as its name suggests, is deeply infused with Hong Kong elements. Whether it’s the classic old architecture or posters straight out of Hong Kong films, or the hauntingly beautiful Cantonese opera that plays in the background, I think it really captures the essence of Chinese horror games. The puzzles aren’t too hard, but the eerie, dim environments, the constant dripping sound from the ceiling, the frightening BGM suddenly playing while searching for clues, fighting bosses, and rescuing Jiahui, do make it quite a challenge. Brave souls might want to give it a try!

Red Dead Redemption 2
Why are some games referred to as the “ninth art”? What makes them so captivating? I believe it’s because they offer us a chance to temporarily escape our mundane lives and experience a different, exciting, legendary, passionate, or mysterious life. Red Dead Redemption 2 achieves this brilliantly. It’s no wonder it’s one of the top ten most expensive games in history. With realistic graphics, meticulously crafted storylines, lifelike action design, cinematic perspectives while traveling, countless tasks and challenges, well-rounded character development, and a rich animal world, it feels like you’re really living in the early 20th-century American West, as a free but bound wild cowboy.
Among the countless memorable moments from this game, there are so many—like taking little Jack fishing to cheer him up, rescuing a kidnapped German and bringing him back to his family, secretly delivering a love letter, going to a mansion to rescue Jack, dominating a poker table with Strauss, saving John in prison with Sadie via a hot air balloon, chasing a pickpocket who stole my wallet, teaching a widow how to survive, having a drunken night with Lenny, burning down a tobacco field, or a group of cowboys in awkward suits attending a mayor’s banquet…
As we progress through the missions, we learn about Arthur’s tragic past, witnessing his growing doubts about Dutch’s increasingly radical views. Yet, for the gang, Arthur remains the go-to guy for everything. Hunting, making money, collecting debts, saving people—Arthur is always there, because the gang is his greatest support in an otherwise turbulent life. Initially, I approached the missions with excitement, but as Arthur’s health deteriorates, I began to feel sadness. So, when encountering strangers in need, I try my best to help, as if doing good in the remaining time could somewhat redeem past wrongs. Perhaps that’s why the game is called “Redemption.” Living in the moment, helping others, and feeling at peace with oneself—that’s the lesson I took away. What did you learn from playing this game?

I’m a big fan of the Resident Evil movie series, and this is my first time diving into the horror game series. As Roosevelt once said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” But even with a strong mental preparation before playing, I was still scared by the character designs, the gruesome visuals, and the eerie sound effects. But beyond the horror elements, it’s essentially a treasure hunting and escape game. The normal difficulty will take around 8-10 hours to complete. I’d recommend it only to those who aren’t likely to have nightmares after playing Resident Evil 7. Enjoy the “warm welcome” from your in-laws, wife, and brother-in-law.

Following Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 was another game that completely immersed me. After nearly 70 hours, Night City became a second home in my gaming memory—every time I think of it, an indescribable nostalgia washes over me.
I followed V, the best mercenary in Night City, met incredibly well-developed characters, and experienced touching, tragic, and thrilling moments. Sure, you can complain about frustrating achievements or clunky driving mechanics, but you can’t deny that Cyberpunk 2077 tells an unforgettable mercenary’s tale.
V’s journey was more than just about fixing his consciousness problem. It was about justice, respect, and redemption. At first, I was focused on making money for better cyberware and luxury cars. But soon, I found myself exploring every corner of Night City, collecting tarot cards, and taking on missions to make the city feel more alive.
Out of the four endings, I chose the Sun ending—I wanted V to become a legend of The Afterlife.

With a black-and-white aesthetic and an unsettling atmosphere, LIMBO creates an eerie depiction of what hell might look like. You’ll encounter monstrous spiders, mind-controlling plants, gravity-defying puzzles, spinning saw blades, and electrified pipes—death lurks at every turn.
Unlike Hollow Knight and Ori, the protagonist in LIMBO has no skills or upgrades. The only way to progress is through trial and error—learning from each death.
I wanted to challenge myself to beat the game with less than five deaths, but even knowing all the traps in advance, minimizing mistakes proved extremely difficult.

But for me, Palworld was a joy to play. It blends elements from Ark (base-building), The Forest (survival mechanics), and Pokémon (creature capturing and battling). When a game combines multiple ideas well, it becomes a success.
Who wouldn’t love soaring through the sky on a dragon from a volcano to a snowy peak? Watching your Pals work hard at farming, cooking, and crafting? Breeding rare creatures with perfect traits? Designing and decorating a grand estate from scratch? Or teaming up with friends to share the adventure?
Yes, Palworld has flaws, but its gameplay depth and fun factor are undeniable.
