Nonini who was born Hubert Nakitare on the 2nd of October 1982 in California Estate, Nairobi, Kenya, s of the Luhya decent.

Nonini founded the Pro-Habo Unit (P-Unit) in 2003. The group consisted of famous rappers Frasha, Gabu and Bonnie as well as Nonini himself.
