Recently, Sensor Tower released the Top 10 revenue rankings and Top 10 revenue growth rankings for global mobile game products on the App Store and Google Play for March 2025. Notably, the data does not include third-party Android markets.
In March, global players spent approximately $6.79 billion on mobile games through the App Store and Google Play, a 5.6% increase from the previous month. The United States remained the largest revenue market, contributing about $2.2 billion (31.9% of global revenue), followed closely by the Chinese mainland iOS market (17.6%) and the Japanese market (14.3%).

In the Top 10 revenue rankings, FunPlus’s Whiteout Survival celebrated its second anniversary in March with the “Dawn Feast” event (March 6–13), featuring collaborative cooking activities, festive competitions, and exclusive rewards, significantly boosting player engagement. Additionally, the game rolled out the “Alliance Triumph” version update, introducing new alliance events and optimized features, further driving player spending.
Thanks to these key in-game events and content updates, Whiteout Survival climbed two spots in the revenue rankings for March 2025, reaching the top of the global mobile game revenue list and setting a new record for its highest monthly revenue ever.

Following closely behind is Royal Match, which climbed to second place on the global revenue list in March thanks to several captivating events. Within the game, a limited-time ocean adventure event introduced special levels with unique challenges, while new areas like the Astronomy Museum and Robot Workshop—unlocked alongside 100 new levels—offered players fresh and immersive content.
Meanwhile, Last War: Survival Game secured third place on the global revenue list, driven by its Season 3 Battle Pass, exclusive hero weapons, and recurring gold brick events that provided additional rewards. Next, MONOPOLY GO! benefited from its “Tycoon Racers” themed event, landing in fourth place, with Honor of Kings holding steady in the top five.
In the Top 10 revenue growth rankings, PUBG MOBILE (Peacekeeper Elite in China) surged nine spots from the previous month to claim first place. The game’s seventh anniversary “Golden Moonlight” theme and a desert-themed update tailored to the Ramadan festive atmosphere significantly boosted player activity and monetization rates.
Meanwhile, Heroes Don’t Blink, an idle RPG developed by iPlay Game and published by Sanqi Interactive Entertainment, delivered a standout performance in the Chinese mainland market. Within its first month of release, it broke into the top ten for revenue in the local market, a development previously covered by mobile gaming outlet Nadianshi.
Heroes Don’t Blink features a horizontal combat system with fully automated real-time battles, allowing players to assemble teams of fantasy heroes with unique skills and abilities. Its offline idle rewards system perfectly caters to the needs of hybrid casual players, while frequent character updates and seasonal events continuously enhance the game’s appeal. In March, its revenue growth surged to second place globally, surpassing Whiteout Survival.
Additionally, Uma Musume Pretty Derby also showed remarkable growth. Its fourth-anniversary celebration events propelled the game’s revenue ranking up 17 spots, landing it in tenth place on the growth list, with exclusive content effectively re-engaging its core fanbase.
Overall, the market shifts and trends in March once again demonstrate that event-driven content updates, the value of established IPs, and strategic operational adjustments remain the core factors in sustaining user engagement and profitability for mobile game products.
